In our consulting practice, we encounter entrepreneurs with sound business ideas or already at the start-up phase but with lack of capacity to launch their businesses or sustain the business through the earliest phase. Prolink International has been providing assistance to employees in public and private sectors in view of building administrative and legal capacity and competence in setting up businesses viable for integration into the domestic, regional and global value chains.

Prolink International applies local and international expertise to foster an improved business-enabling environment and build competences in entrepreneurship development in the Myanmar emerging market, using a range of well adopted practices and techniques to verified needs:

Technical Assistance and Capacity Building to both local institutions and businesses, to enable Private Sector Development through:

·         Strengthening public institutions in view of effective management of the reform process, creating a conducive business environment for SMEs ;

·         Strategic planning for small and medium enterprises (SMEs): developing local partnerships, linking SMEs to international investment and technology flows to facilitate access to resources and support services that SMEs require to become more competitive and sustainable;

·         Training on management, leadership and financial planning;

·         Building competence on the issues related to foreign trade (esp. access to the export market), international market and finance research, global finance/donor sources;

·         Organization of Matchmaking meetings between Myanmar and ASEAN SMEs

·         Awareness raising on how entrepreneurs can access assistance services and funding opportunities

·         Business and cross cultural training designed with the support of the local experts, directed to the potential investors with the aim to foster understanding of the environment and the culture of the Country they would like to invest in.
