Support targeted legal, policy and institutional reform processes, for effective governance, aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery in defined priority areas.
Strengthening institutions, systems and processes of democratisation, with the focus on:
· Capacity development of key institutions (e.g. state legislatures and political parties) to engage in political processes towards democratization;
· Strengthening Civil Society capacity to engage in policy dialogue and hold authorities to account in the supply of public services;
· Training directed to all forms of media for equity in access to information;
Expand the capacity to manage equitable delivery of public services:
· Planning and implementing pro-poor development agendas;
· Support devolution of power through decentralization;
· Improving state and local level capacities for Public Financial Management (PFM) and programmes for pro -poor policy development and implementation;
